I love carnitas. I don’t order it very often when we go out because I know it’s delicious because it’s loaded with fat. So I was excited to try out this recipe. The recipe is just about perfect as written, and perfect results are achieved without soaking the meat in extra fat. I loved this dish and will definitely make it again. We served it with tortillas, sour cream and guacamole.
