Ingredients
Cocktail
  • 2 fl. oz. St. George Breaking and Entering Bourbon
  • .75 fl. oz. spiced stout syrup
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • Spiced or Brandied Cherries for garnish
Spiced Stout Syrup
  • 12 fl. oz. Anderson Valley "Barney Flats" Oatmeal Stout
  • .5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Whole Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • .25 teaspoon Allspice Powder
  • Zest of One-quarter of Lemon
  • Juice of ½ Lemon
Instructions
Spiced Stout Syrup
  1. In a saucepan, bring all ingredients to a simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. Allow to cool and strain.
Cocktail
  1. Combine the ingredients in a shaker filled with ice cubes.
  2. Stir and strain in a cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with cherries.
